About Me

As a former material science engineer (BEng and MSc), I have gained strong analytical and problem solving skills in the course of my study and work. My experience as a quality engineer at a production company had extra positive impact on my ability to analyse and improve processes, my communication and teamwork skills, especially in difficult situations, as well as my ability to resolve conflics.

The trigger point which made me take the leap and decide on a career change occurred during my last job. In order to make processes more efficient, I started to teach myself VBA and used Excel macros to automate them. The fact that just a couple lines of code could provide a much more efficient solution amazed me. Very soon I found out that I enjoyed coding and building programs so much, that I want to do it everyday. It was no easy decision, but my passion for programming helped make up my mind.

So here I am, a junior web developer who is a relentless learner and wants to build efficient solutions.
